This July Adam Ellis took to white collar boxing to raise money for charity.
Adam a semi pro rugby player for Wolverhampton Rugby Club (who are also sponsored by Aerotech) asked if Aerotech would be interested in sponsoring him and Managing Director Jim Needham was happy to help. Choosing Cancer Research UK as their charity of choice the fighters managed to raise an impressive £3,602.
Adam said after the fight “I’m glad that is over, but I am proud to be a part of something that helps raise money and awareness for a charity close to my heart – one I am happy to get punched in the face for.”
Jim Needham was there to cheer Adam on and saw a dominant performance as he won his four round fight saying “when Adam asked if we would be interested in sponsoring him I immediately said yes, so many people are stricken by cancer in their life time and it is essential we all do our bit to raise funds to find a cure.”
Adam also works at Collins Aerospace who Aerotech have supplied NDT to directly and indirectly for many years.
